Lemon Green Beans
Course:
A zesty twist on a simple side dish! Great paired with fish or poultry!
Ingredients:
- 1 lemon
- Salt
- 1 lb trimmed green beans
- 1 1/2 tbs olive oil
Directions:
Grate the zest of 1/2 lemon and squeeze 1 1/2 tbs lemon juice.
In a saucepan, boil green beans until soft, about 10 minutes. Drain and remove from heat.
Toss beans with olive oil, 3/4 tsp salt and lemon juice. Sprinkle with lemon zest and serve.
