Green Bean Almandine

  • 1 lb snap beans
  • lemon
  • 1 Tbs. butter
  • 1/4 chopped almonds
  • 2 cloves garlic

Prepare the green beans for cooking. Steam the beans for a couple minutes, just until they turn bright green but maintain their crispness. Set aside. Heat butter in frying pan and add garlic. Cook until garlic is translucent. Add beans and stir to warm beans. Remove from heat and add juice of a lemon to taste and a sprinkle of salt.
