French Breakfast, Easter Egg, Meat Radish

Radishes add spice and crunch to your spring and fall salads.  In the early summer, we have French breakfast and easter egg radishes.  French breakfast's are long and slender with a red fading into white color. Easter eggs are round, bold colored radishes. In the fall we have meat radishes, also called, watermelon radishes; you'll see why when you slice them open and expose their rose center.

Storage tips: 

Radishes can store well in the fridge wrapped in a bag or airtight container for a couple weeks.  For winter storage, meat radishes can be stored unwashed in a cold area.

Great sliced into salads.
