From our fields, for your family

Celeriac is truly an unusual vegetable and new to many. It is a root in the celery family and is round, brownish (sometimes dirty) and often has root hairs all over, looking a little bit like a monster. But have no fear, celeriac is a fine vegetable and great for adding flavor to your meals. It is available in the fall and can be stored throughout the winter.

Storage tips:

As with other roots crops, wrapping it in a bag and stashing it in the fridge should keep it for a month or so. If you have a nice cold space that won't freeze, it can be stored there and covered.

Cooking tips:
Treat celeriac as you would any other root to add a celery flavor to your dishes. It is great in soups, mashed, and baked.
