Everybody loves carrots! Crispy and sweet raw, they are great for the kids to snack on.  Great in salads too. Cooked, they can go into just about any meal including stir-fries, soups and casseroles. Also, they make a fine healthy juice. They are available from June until November.

Storage tips: 

Carrots hold well in the fridge for several weeks if kept in a plastic bag. For winter storage, they should be kept unwashed and bagged in a cool dark place above freezing and they will keep for several months.
